This Week's Tip:
Do you drink enough water? Did you know that the average adult needs approximately 2 litres of water daily just to replace what is lost through normal daily functions? Start talking, get active, increase your fibre intake or have a bath and you are going to need to increase that by at least 1 more litre. These numbers are very generalized but basically if you feel thirsty you are already dehydrated. So keep your water bottle close by and sip it regularly.
* Herbal teas and broth based soups count as water as well but watch the salt in those soups. Coffee and caffeinated teas count but only as 1/2 cup because they are diuretics.
