I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience accumulated over five and a half decades. I have been involved in running, track and resistance training for 40 years. My previous experiences with weights centered around bodybuilding and Olympic lifting.
Over the course of my two years at NAIT in the Personal Fitness Trainer program, I demonstrated a high degree of proficiency in the main areas of study offered. These included Nutrition and Weight Management, Anatomy and Physiology, Strength and Resistance Techniques, Aerobics and Flexibility, and Advance Program Design.
In the course of my four practicum placements, I worked with individuals who were on a continum from highly trained athletes to those with varying degrees of physical problems.
