"One of the best things that I have done for myself lately is
to participate in the bod pod challenge. In the past I have often measured my success by getting on the scale on a weekly basis. This did not work well for me as the weight came off quite slowly and it made me feel as if I wasn't making much progress, that certainly wasn't very motivating.
However after 10 weeks on the Bod Pod challenge I did lose a
significant amount of fat weight and gained lean muscle, which was the goal. It truly is valuable to understand your weight loss in terms of fat lost vs lean gained. Overall, I did drop two sizes and I will definitely continue to participate in these challenges as they are offered."
"For 30 years I believed I was borderline obese, using the BMI method of body assessment, which always rated me at 24 - 25 % body fat. Bod Pod showed me to have 18.5% body fat despite being heavier than I've ever been. I'm still struggling to get my head around this revelation but it has certainly caused me to rethink my eating habits, my perception of self, and how others perceive me. The challenge to meet the five pound weight loss goal has been an easier challenge with the motivation of knowing that I will have another Bod Pod assessment at the conclusion of the Challenge."

"The Bod Pod Challenge has given me another tool in my health tool kit. I am determined to continue to stay active and work on a healthier diet. This challenge has been one more way to add some accountability to my journey."

"When I started this challenge it was just to help me reach my goal weight at weight watchers but seeing where I was in the body shapes was incentive for me to work harder to increase my muscle mass and decrease the fat %.... More then that it has helped me to get out of my comfort zone and try some new things like the classes in the evening and a cycle class in the am...still can not get out of bed that earlier....I am more aware that I needed to increase my effort in my work outs and have noticed the difference on the scale too...plus my husband and I enjoyed doing this together and meeting more people at the gym (extra bonus)..highlight of the 10 week challenge so far was doing Jacobs ladder for 20 min...whew that was hard but did it ...thanks for your hard work and organization."

"The BOD POD challenge was a successful venture for me. I liked having something concrete to work towards in terms of my ultimate POD BOD goal in 10 weeks. The challenges made it fun and were a constant reminder of the ultimate goal, so I didn’t get bored or fall off the wagon."
